Plain-air Paris
Paris, a city with a timeless charm, beckoned Gerard again. And what a better time to revisit la ville de l'amour than April? Gerard spent seven magical days in the streets of Paris painting and sketching en plein air, responding to curious looks of tourists and les Parisiens, chatting to them, stopping at the cafes for un petit cafe or a glass of wine. Gerard visited his beloved Musée d'Orsay for an ongoing inspiration from the masters. The result of the trip is a collection of oil paintings and charcoals encapsulating Paris ambience and architecture, its landmarks, the cathedral, bridges, La Seine, all the places close to the artist's heart.
